iTunes goes Latino
This morning Apple announced their recent approach to the Latino culture. It's been a while since you can search and buy Latino music in the iTunes Store, but today they released the new iTunes Latino, with featuring Latino artist and Latino celebrities playlists.This week's featured artist is Tito Puente, who has 41 brilliant records selling at the iTunes Latino Store.
Check it out, open your iTunes Store and click on your top right link to the iTunes Latino, and enjoy all the salsa music that you can find, for 99 cents each track! So you can go with your iPod, echando un pie wherever you want.
La Excelencia This Saturday
La Excelencia has been the featured band in two of our installments. They are an amaizing orchestra, playing Salsa Brava like nobody does nowadays.
So if you can't wait until the next installment of Echa Un Pie, you can go and enjoy of 2 sets of La Excelencia, promoting their debut album, Salsa con Conciencia
Just make sure you are properly dressed, no sneakers, boots, baggies, team jerseys, or hats... and remember to have your proper ID (21 and older)
This will all start at 10 pm. Take the green line (6 train) to Bleeker St. station and walk to 625 Broadway right between Bleeker and Houston.
